So we won the hackathon, and one of the prizes was that we were automatically selected to go through to the big deal, pitching at the Startup Vic event in front of a way bigger crowd with a wayyyy bigger prize pool.
To prepare, we spent days at RMIT till very late in the evening, practising. We refined, we changed, we checked facts, we built models, we practised.
The day came, we pitch, we answer hard questions (the hardest part of it all because its like doing a test but in front of an audience), we don’t win.
The value and long-standing results of this experience and this exposure are unknown yet, I’m curious to see if something will come of this later down the track...
